Youth Design Leadership for Community Safety (YDL), a collaboration with the Garfield Park Rite to Wellness Collaborative and the Goldin Institute, is a nine-week, hands-on exploration of design and activism for youth who have a connection to Garfield Park.
YDL will connect with larger initiatives happening in Garfield Park and participate in community-led planning and design projects focused on creating safe space, promoting community wellbeing, and increasing access to opportunity. This program will help participants establish a foundation to communicate, advocate, and make an impact through design.

4:30pm - 6:30pm
Open to: Teens ages 13 -18 who have a connection to Garfield Park

Participants will be compensated for their time after completion of the program.
