Sketch Lab is a five-week program where students learn a variety of drawing techniques and explore topics such as urban sketching, design drawing, color theory, and more. Open to Chicago Area 8-12th graders.

This five-week program explores how 3D printing can improve lives. Students will learn about how 3D printing is used to invent inclusive and sustainable solutions and create an innovative design of their own. Open to Chicago Area 3rd-5th graders.

A 10-week exploration of architecture and design open to Chicago Area 7th-12th graders. Over the course of this workshop series, students will be guided through the entire design process and will re-design an underutilized empty lot.

Youth Design Leadership for Community Safety (YDL) Part 2 is an extension of our 6-month Summer 2021 program hosted in partnership with Studio Gang Architects and Goldin Institute.

We’ve teamed up with Studio Gang Architects and Goldin Institute to offer this FREE 6-month program to students ages 13-18 who have a connection to Garfield Park. YDL is a hands-on exploration of design and change-making.
